Government dental plan has to have bite

My Grandad was a dentist which meant that I had great dental care as a child. As a result I don't have fillings despite my Cadbury's habit.

Sadly, this isn’t the case for many children in Frome and East Somerset growing up today, who lack basic access to dentists and may never been to a dentist at all. Last week I convened a Westminster Hall debate on dentistry in Somerset, to raise these issues with the Health Minister.

Good oral health is crucial for whole body health. Poor oral hygiene can lead to an avalanche of need for urgent care in hospitals with more and more children requiring tooth extraction in emergency care because due to tooth decay.
