“Papi,” welcome back to the second instalment of our Still in Touch With. We heard all about your days at Bush Bucks and your former teammate James Chamanga. What do you have in store for us this week?

I had a great time at Bush Bucks, and I remember that even when the club was struggling financially and fighting relegation, we were not really worried because some of us were not among the highest paid players. At the time, I was a student, and I would just send the money I was getting home and keep some for myself to buy food. That's all I did. But the people there were the most welcoming, and Thembalethu Moses was the one who ensured that we understood the culture of the team. I was only with the team for one year. In 2008, I joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Black Leopards and that was a deal I couldn't resist, even when Leopards were asking me to renew my contract — I didn’t see fit to do that. I thought I had done my part and I didn’t want to waste any time. When I was at Sundowns, there was an MTN8 final match we played in Durban.
