Out of all the quiz shows on the box, Michael McIntyre's The Wheel is one of my favourites. It's charming, it's silly, and it's perfect for primetime TV.

The Wheel, as the name implies, involves a lot of spinning.

An array of celebrities, all assigned a different specialist subject, sit on a grand illuminated wheel and are spun in at random to answer questions on these subjects.

The twist is - the specialist subject may not match the celebrity meaning that rugby player Joe Marler may end up trying to name the original Sugababes lineup, or comedian Katherine Ryan could be left trying to figure out what musical actors Eddie Redmayne, Alan Cumming and Billy Porter have all starred in.

The famous faces aim to build the bank for a contestant who is spun in on a separate wheel, to win at the end of the episode. Are you dizzy yet?
