Le Bris on Mayenda's progress and potential position switch

Régis Le Bris says Eliezer Mayenda could be in line for more minutes from the right wing after his recent substitute cameos in that position.

Mayenda started the season as the club's centre forward, scoring in the opening day win win over West Ham United.

Wilson Isidor has subsequently taken his place in the starting XI, with Le Bris using deadline-day signing Brian Brobbey as his impact substitute over recent weeks, no more so than his winner against Bournemouth at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

That has seen Mayenda's involvement drop over the last couple of months, but Le Bris says that is no cause for concern giving his age.

Mayenda played on the right for Spain Under-21s during the recent international break and so it's something very much on Le Bris's radar.
