Another busy month at local Rotary Club

ANOTHER month - another interesting after-dinner speaker at the Rotary Club of Edenbridge and Westerham.

Wendy Wilson went along and told members and their guests about the history and current plans of thriving local am-dram group The Edenbridge Players.

Speaker meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at Limpsfield Chart Golf Club.

Founded in 1926 as The Edenbridge Amateur Dramatic Society, it was disbanded during the Second World War and reformed in 1949 as The Edenbridge Players.

They proudly recall that their first production was Mr Pym Passes By, which had an audience of over 300!
