Rory ready to put the wind up opponents

RORY Mcllroy refused to have his Amgen Irish Open bid blown off course.

The World No.2 starts the final day four behind leader Adrien Saddier after a second successive bogey-free round at The K Club.

Mellroy’s 68 leaves him in fourth spot with sizzling Spaniards Angel Hidalgo and Alfredo Garcia-Heredia also ahead of him going into today’s finale.

Mcllroy explained: “As I was walking off the 18th green, I said to [caddy] Harry, ‘This is probably the most frustrating four-under par round of golf I’ve played in a while’.

“It got gusty at the end. I felt like I gave myself a lot of chances, hit some good putts that didn’t go in.
