Scottish Sunday Express
|November 23, 2025
CHRISTMAS dinner may be seen as sacred, but new research has revealed the foodie festive faux pas that Brits find most annoying.
More than half of the study's 2,000 people say coughing or sneezing over food is the biggest offence at 55% at he table, while almost as many, at 54%, can't stand guests leaning across others to grab food.
The research by supermarket giants Asda even found 36% of those asked actually preferred the nibbles to the traditional Christmas turkey dinner itself.
