BOJAN IS PERFECT FIT FOR GERS SAYS DODDS

BILLY DODDS always felt Bojan Miovski would be the perfect fit or Rangers.

The caretaker regime Dodds was part of last spring would’ve loved to do exactly what Russell Martin did — and snap up the North Macedonian striker to lead the Ibrox forward line.

As one of Barry Ferguson’s coaching team who made way in May for a new manager, they weren't afforded the chance. Martin has gone for a few project signings and plenty untapped potential among his Ibrox summer influx.

But, in the eyes of Dodds, Miovski is a ready-made Rangers player in terms of both talent and mentality. The 26-year-old gave Gers fans an encouraging glimpse of what he’s capable of for 72 minutes of a debut in last Sunday’s Old Firm stalemate.

Dodds said: “Miovski has got the right attitude for Rangers. We would probably have had a nibble at him but we never got the chance.
