Zac thinks time's right for United to zap flailing Celts

ZAC SAPSFORD insists Dundee United will start with a clean slate against Celtic tonight - and can finally end an 11-year Hoops hoodoo.

The Terrors last won against the Glasgow giants back in December 2014 at home thanks to goals from Nadir Ciftci and Stuart Armstrong. Since then, there has been precious little cheer for those of a tangerine persuasion when playing Celtic.

However, Sapsford (below), who was one of 14 new Tannadice recruits during the summer, believes the current crop of players are not burdened by history and can cause a big upset against a Celtic side that have lost three games in a row, including Sunday's Premier Sports Cup final to St Mirren.

The striker said: "We know Celtic have a great team with a lot of really good individual players.
