Woman is killed and teens badly hurt in A75 tragedy

A PENSIONER has died and two teenagers seriously injured in the latest crash on Scotland’s roads.
The woman became the third fatality in just 36 hours over the Bank Holiday weekend.
In the latest incident, a grey Ford Ka and a white Seat Ibiza collided on the A75 in Dumfries-shire.
It occurred around 8.50pm on Saturday on the road between Castle Douglas and Bridge of Dee.
The 67-year-old female driver of the Seat died in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
The 19-year-old driver of the Ka and the 16-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital both suffering serious injuries.
