DAVID GRAY expects Hibs’ Premier Sports Cup flop against Russell Martin's Rangers to help sharpen his players’ focus as they prepare to return to Ibrox in the Premiership tonight.

The Hibees headed to Glasgow with high hopes in September at the height of protests against former boss Martin and the club's board, but then failed to capitalise on the mutiny among the home fans as they fell to a meek 2-0 defeat.

Rangers’ domestic results have shown an upturn since the arrival of Danny Rohl as boss and Gray (below) knows his team will require a much-improved display if they are to make it back-to-back league victories at Ibrox after winning 2-0 there in April.
