Steyn expects to get Hampden bouncing for 1872 Cup as Everitt backs his feisty 'little brothers'

KYLE STEYN reckons the Glasgow Warriors fans will ensure Hampden still feels like home this afternoon.

The winger says last week’s stunning Champions Cup win over Toulouse as Warriors came from 21-0 down to win 28-21 was one of the best atmospheres he's heard at Scotstoun.

Warriors have moved this first leg of the 1872 Cup match with Edinburgh to the home of Scottish football just as they did last year to allow more fans to attend.

But Steyn is confident the backing will be the same as before - if not noisier.

The Glasgow skipper said: “I can't believe how good it sounded last Saturday night. It was so good to hear Scotstoun like that. I haven't heard it like that in a few years. Hopefully everyone's feeling the festive spirit and feeling energised off the back of that. The more light-blue flags at Hampden, the better.
