Vegans not taken for a ride

A THEME park has issued a dietary warning for an 80mph rollercoaster, saying it is not suitable for vegans due to flying insects.

Signs warn thrill-seekers wishing to try Hyperia in Thorpe Park, Surrey, that its speed and intensity mean dodging airborne insects is not an option.

Standing at 236ft tall, it is the highest and fastest rollercoaster in Britain - meaning riders may unwillingly encounter a "few snacks along the way", according to a spokesman for the park.
