Tributes to Kirsty after car tragedy

TRIBUTES have been paid to a young woman who died in a car crash.

Kirsty Shankland, 21, was driving her blue Honda when it collided with another car on the A98 near Banff last Wednesday.

Friends and family in Dingwall, Easter Ross, said they “will never be the same again” after the tragedy. Kirsty, right, was pronounced dead the scene as she drove home from a trip to Harris.

Friends have now set up a fundraiser in Kirsty’s memory and it has already raised £10,000.
