Thrilling comeback win keeps Scots on World Cup course

STEVE CLARKE hailed his Scotland braves for throwing off the shackles to stun Greece and bag a huge World Cup qualifying boost.

Lewis Ferguson pounced from close range with just 10 minutes to go at Hampden after Ryan Christie had cancelled out Kostas Tsimikas' strike.

Lyndon Dykes slammed in a stoppage-time third to kill Greek hopes.

Scotland were hardly in the contest before remarkably rallying to move level on points with Denmark at the top of Group C with Belarus next up at Hampden on Sunday, reeling after a 6-0 drubbing by the Danes last night.
