SIMON MURRAY admits it would be the pinnacle of his career if his goalscoring exploits for Dundee were to earn him a Scotland call-up.
The prolific striker, above, took his tally for the campaign to 21 on Saturday with his double sealing a 2-0 win over St Mirren at Dens Park.
The 33-year-old is also the top-scoring Scot in the Premiership with 15.
His boss, Tony Docherty, believes he is deserving of international recognition, with Scotland to play friendlies against Iceland and Liechtenstein in June.
And Murray explained what it would mean to him to earn the nod, saying: "I've never been involved but that's the pinnacle for every Scottish player in their career, if they get to the national team.
