Sarra saddles up for Chris's cancer cycle

SIR Chris Hoy's wife Sarra has said she is “punching back” against the couple's health battles by taking part in a 56-mile charity cycle.

Lady Sarra will join her husband on the Tour de 4 bike ride to raise money for cancer charities despite suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS).

She underwent scans which confirmed she had the degenerative disease just two months after Sir Chris was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in 2023.

About 5,000 cyclists, many with Stage 4 cancer, will take part in the “Tour de 4” on Sunday, September 7.

It will start and end at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow and aims to raise £1m for cancer charities.
