Proud star wants more as Scots nab last-eight spot

PROUD Rhona Lloyd reckons qualifying for the last eight of the Women’s Rugby World Cup is a massive achievement for Scotland.

But the winger — who scored two tries in Saturday’s 29-15 Pool B win over Fiji in Salford — knows the team will need to up their game to defeat a powerful Canada this coming Saturday in the final pool clash before the quarterfinals.

Three Fijians were sent to the sin bin in the bruising battle down south. And one of the three yellow cards was upgraded to a red on review.

But Scotland kept their shape and discipline to come out on top.

And, following the win over Wales a week earlier, that was enough for them to book their place in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2002.
