HERE are two questions you'll forever be asked if you're a TV critic. The first, not unreasonably, is whether there’s anything decent coming up on the telly. More on that in a moment.

The second, less predictably, is which old show you'd most like to see brought back.

Answering that second one is something I struggle with.

I'm not sure I'd really want any of my favourite old shows remade, reimagined, rebooted or whatever the heck they call it.

I'd rather they were left as they are, so as not to taint their legacy. There's one old remake, however, that I do think we could still have more of.

And its very first episode, dating back a decade, is being shown again tonight.
