Perry space flight highlights love of the cosmic, inspired by comic

IWISH to share with other readers that this week marks the 75th birthday of what was Britain’s finest ever comic, the Eagle with Dan Dare, who was to cause every British boy and girl to want to get into space.

This seems even more appropriate as this week we also saw the six-female crew launch into space aboard the Blue Origin space ship (“Katy Perry roars into space with historic all-woman crew”, Scottish Daily Express, April 15).
