OSMAND: I WAS SOLD ON HOOPS BY O'RILEY

NEW Celtic striker Callum Osmand sought advice from the club's ex-star Matt O'Riley before joining from Fulham on a four-year deal.
The 19-year-old Englishman, below, is the latest arrival at Parkhead following the signings of Kieran Tierney, Ross Doohan and Benjamin Nygren, with the deal subject to international clearance.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has set out a clear pathway for Osmand and it is a journey the teenager can't wait to get started on.
He revealed Brighton midfielder O'Riley, who played for Celtic from 2022 to 2024 after starting his career at Craven Cottage, gave the Parkhead club a glowing reference.
