Musk ‘reverses out of White House role amid backlash'

ELON Musk is set to leave his role at the heart of the Trump regime, it is claimed, amid a growing backlash to his influence on it.
The world's richest man is set to step back to focus on his businesses, including electric vehicle maker Tesla which has been hit by slumping sales and a plunge in its share price.
The firm has suffered a consumer boycott plus attacks on dealerships as part of protests against Musk's outspoken political stance.
Tesla also faces tough competition from China as analysts warn Musk's polarising persona puts off buyers and investors.
