AN MP who celebrated Israeli fans being banned from a match against a Premier League club has called for that nation to be excluded from all international sport.
Ayoub Khan, 52, who represents Birmingham Perry Barr after being elected on a pro-Palestine platform last year, started a petition against Aston Villa playing the Israeli side Maccabi Tel-Aviv in a Europa League game on November 6.
On Thursday night he welcomed the news that Israeli supporters would be stopped from attending after police and council leaders, deemed the game “high risk”.
