Farrell challenges Quins ace
MARCUS SMITH has been urged to make a name for himself among his team-mates when the British & Irish Lions take on Argentina tomorrow in Dublin.
Smith has been handed the chance to stake the first claim for a Test shirt after being named at full-back for the clash by head coach Andy Farrell.
The Harlequin is ahead of the Lions curve compared to the two main contenders for the 15 shirt - sidelined Irishman Hugo Keenan and Scotland's Blair Kinghorn, who is not with the squad because of club commitments with Toulouse in the Top 14.
In contrast, Smith was in camp in Portugal for five days last week and has been training fully in Ireland since Monday.
Farrell has told Smith, and the rest of the side, to turn the heat up on their squad-mates, who will be in the crowd.
