Nancy hails O'Neill feelgood factor

WILFRIED NANCY has told Celtic fans he's determined to build on the Martin O'Neill feelgood factor after finally landing at Parkhead.

The 48-year-old was confirmed as boss on a two-and-a-half-year deal less than an hour before Celts' 1-0 win over Dundee last night. It comes after the Hoops stumped up more than £2million to land the Frenchman from Columbus Crew.

Express Sport revealed last month the club had made Nancy their main target as permanent manager following the departure of Brendan Rodgers.

They were held up by red tape but have finally got their man. O'Neill bid farewell to his adoring fans last night and Nancy will take training tomorrow ahead of his Celtic Park bow in Sunday's Premiership showdown with joint leaders Hearts.
