Lando learns after getting zero from playing the hero

LANDO NORRIS admitted trying to be a hero has cost him in his title chase.

The Brit is nine points behind McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri as the sport returns this weekend following a four-week summer break.

But he could have been in the driving seat were it not for costly mistakes in China and Canada.

“Could I have, at times, made better decisions? I think so,” Norris said in Zandvoort ahead of Sunday's Dutch Grand Prix.

“The main qualifying; I think my lap was good enough for pole until the final hairpin where I locked up.
