KFC recipe for growth...500 restaurants with 7,000 jobs

KFC has revealed a £1.5billion plan to create at least 7,000 jobs in the UK and Ireland over the next five years and open 500 more restaurants by 2035.

The fast-food giant said £466million will go towards opening new locations.

And part of that figure will also be spent on upgrading more than 200 restaurants - 20% of the brand’s estate.

Some £583m will go towards the new jobs, while £404m will be spent on strengthening KFC’s ‘long-standing’ relationships with its suppliers and [help-img] businesses across the UK&I grow”.

Firms set to benefit include Pilgrim’s Europe, McCormick, Nature’s Way and Fourth.
