Rohl pleased with Dens win

- ANDY NEWPORT

DANNY ROHL says Rangers still have major improvements to make - but insists his side's Premiership push is finally heading in the right direction.

The German boss watched his new team bounce back from last week's deflating Premier Sports Cup loss to Celtic and a Europa League defeat to Roma with a commanding 3-0 win at Dundee yesterday.

The Light Blues might be propping up the table in Europe, but Rohl reckons his side can “build something” after making it three Premiership wins on the trot after previously beating Kilmarnock and Hibs.

The recently-appointed 36-yearold gave his first demonstration of the Rohl roar as he celebrated with the travelling fans who had chanted his name throughout the game at Dens.

And he believes the new sense of togetherness with supporters will help drive his players as they look to chase down Hearts and Celtic.

The buzzing boss said: "I'm happy. Three wins in a row in the league, two clean sheets away is fantastic.

"To score three goals is good but the second half we can speak about improvements.

"It's good there is still space for improvement.

But to take nine points from the last three games is massive.
