POP superstar Lewis Capaldi has said meeting Dolly Parton after his gig in Nashville last week was a "dream come true".

The Scots singer-songwriter posed for a picture with the country music icon as the pair both beamed for the camera.

Lewis, 28, shared the snap on his Instagram, captioned with: "Good golly, miss Dolly."

Delighted fans rushed to the comments to share their excitement over the “duo they didn't know they needed”.
