Grandkids are my weakest link, says TV Queen of Mean

SHE was the Queen of Mean on TV's The Weakest Link, but at 80, Anne Robinson has a more mellow ambition to spoil her grandchildren for years to come.

As she returns to TV tomorrow in Channel 5 social experiment You Be The Judge, the presenter said of her mortality: “I do think about it quite a lot.

“So what I do is I try to keep fit and live in the day and be grateful for wonderful grandsons, my daughter [Emma, 54] and my son in law.

“If you look at Jane Fonda [who is 87], she’s looking fantastic.

“It’s why, when I had a facelift, I immediately said that I'd had one, because I didn’t want people my age to think, ‘Why don’t I look like her with no lines?”
