Father pays tribute to slain NHS worker

THE father of an NHS worker who is alleged to have been murdered has paid tribute to his “bubbly” daughter.

Natalie Egan’s body was discovered inside a flat in Dundee after the property was set on fire. Yesterday, Calum Miller appeared in court charged with the murder of the 37-year-old woman on the morning of Halloween.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard that the deceased had been stabbed repeatedly.
The 26-year-old defendant was not in the dock for the brief hearing after refusing to leave his cell.
Sheriff John Rafferty remanded Miller in custody after committing him for further examination.
