Hammers boss Nuno believes Bowen will bounce back after missing England cut

NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO has backed Jarrod Bowen to shrug off his World Cup heartache and give everything to avoid an agonising double weekend whammy.

West Ham skipper Bowen was devastated to be left out of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for next month's finals in North America.

And the forward will have relegation on his CV if the Hammers fail to win at home to Leeds tomorrow.

West Ham need Spurs to lose to Everton as well to have any realistic chance of avoiding Championship football next term.

But boss Nuno believes Bowen is fully focused on helping pull off a last-day Great Escape.

He said: “It was something that Jarrod really, really wanted to achieve in his personal career.
