City film set could hinder our 999 heroes during emergencies

IT'S clear that Glasgow city centre is the new place to hang out if you're a super hero - all thanks to Glasgow City Council's variety of tax breaks, incentives, etc, which make it possible to film here for a fraction of the cost projected if production took place in New York City itself.

Filming in Glasgow city centre invariably results in tremendous upheaval for those who work here, given the resultant street closures and inevitable parking prohibitions imposed - all of which render the situation virtually impossible to manage for the majority of those affected.
