SCOTLAND last night produced a brilliant display in the field to kickstart their T20 World Cup qualification bid with a thrilling six-run win over the Netherlands in Voorburg.

The Saltires looked to be up against it after being restricted to 148-9, despite a big-hitting half-ton from Ollie Hairs.

But Brandon McMullen picked up two wickets in as many balls to stall the Dutch run-chase early on. Then leg-spinner Chris Greaves produced a man-of-the-match spell, taking three key wickets as Scotland took charge.
