Children flooded by junk food web push

CHILDREN are more likely to get drawn into junk food promotions if they see an influencer sharing it online, a survey found.

Cancer Research UK urged ministers to do more to protect young people from harmful marketing that raises risk of obesity and cancer.

New laws, which come into force next year, will end paid-for advertising, including online, of foods which are high in fat, sugar and salt.
