RANGERS' faint hopes of persuading Vaclav Cerny to return look set to be blown out of the water by megabucks offers abroad.

The Czech international was one of the few Ibrox players who could hold his head high last season after contributing 18 goals and nine assists during his 12-month loan stint.

But that impressive form has effectively priced the Wolfsburg winger out of a permanent switch to Glasgow.
