BHOYS SO CLOSE TO WILF DEAL

CELTIC are step closer to securing Wilfried Nancy as their new manager after a round weekend of talks.

The Columbus Crew head coach kicked off discussions with Parkhead chiefs on Friday night and the parties continued to iron out the details over the weekend with a view to getting a deal done before Friday's AGM.

Nancy, 48, has been made the No.1 target after an initial approach from powerbroker Dermot Desmond following the departure of Brendan Rodgers.

The Frenchman has been sold on the move but negotiations are ongoing and Celts will also have to thrash out a compensation package with the MLS outfit.
