BBC chiefs admit to a 'lapse' in Duke story

BBC bosses yesterday admitted to a “lapse in our standards” in coverage of Prince Harry’s bombshell interview with the broadcaster last week.
Harry spoke to the BBC on Friday after losing a Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements while in the UK.
On Saturday, Radio 4’s Today programme covered the story, where the Duke of Sussex described his court defeat as a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up”.
