40 years of weeds cleared

NEIGHBOURS have spoken of their relief after a house swallowed up by nature was cleared - after 40 years.

Just the front door of the end-terrace home and a satellite dish could be seen amid the weeds and ivy because the “nature-loving” owner stopped keeping them in check.

But last year the three-bed property in King's Norton, Birmingham, was auctioned off for £150,000 when the woman, now in her 90s, moved into a care home.
