Patients wanted for op trial
HUNDREDS of patients are being recruited for a trial of a prostate cancer treatment with fewer side-effects.
Backed by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, the trial will examine Aquablation — a therapy using robotics, AI and imaging as a treatment for the condition.
It will be compared with the radical prostatectomy, in which the entire prostate gland is removed in a bid to cure men of prostate cancer.
