ABERDEEN ARE IN A RIGHT FIX NOW

NICKY DEVLIN believes Aberdeen have finally got their defensive structure right and that they will really start to fire when their attacking players also click.

After starting the season with eight defeats from their first 11 games, manager Jimmy Thelin ditched his usual 4-2-3-1 formation to go to a back-three in a bid to stop his side leaking goals.

Three wins and two draws from their last seven games offer tangible evidence of improvement, but struggles remain at the top end of the pitch for the Dons, who have managed to score more than a single goal in just one league game since April.

However, Devlin reckons it's only a matter of time before that changes given the quality of forward trio Jesper Karlsson, Marko Lazetic and Kevin Nisbet.
