Glenvista Primary steps into the future with tablet donation

LEARNERS at Glenvista Primary School received tablets during a handover ceremony on Thursday, part of a national effort to expand access to digital learning tools in under-resourced classrooms.

The initiative, led by the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies, the Department of Basic Education and the Primedia Group, aims to bridge the digital divide starting at school level.

Communications and Digital Technologies Minister Solly Malatsi and Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube officially handed over the tablets.

Both ministers stressed the role of technology in transforming education and the need to equip learners with the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing digital environment.
