Ex-MP Galloway is held at airport

GEORGE Galloway has revealed that he was detained by counter-terrorism police for nine hours at Gatwick Airport, during which his phone and laptop were confiscated before he was released without charge.

The 71-year-old former MP (pictured) claimed that officers stopped him for "no reason at all" other than to "gain access to our communications".
Mr Galloway and his wife, Putri Gayatri Pertiwi, were allowed to continue their journey after being stopped on Saturday under the Terrorism Act, according to the Metropolitan Police.
It is reported that the couple had returned to the UK from Moscow via Abu Dhabi.
In a fiery introduction to his Mother Of All Talk Shows broadcast, Mr Galloway stated that officers had questioned him about his views on Russia and China.
