Municipal Commissioner Reviewed the Bulk Water Supply Project Company Directed to Increase Workforce and Municipal Officials Asked to Accelerate Work

Municipal Commissioner Bikramjit Singh Shergill conducted a review meeting of the Amritsar Bulk Water Supply Project to assess the progress made so far.

The meeting was attended by officials from the project contractor Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Municipal Corporation officials, and representatives from the Independent Verification Agency appointed for the project.It is noteworthy that the Municipal Corporation is implementing the Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project (PMSIP) with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). Under this project, in the coming time, treated water from the Upper Bari Doab Canal (UBDC) will be supplied to every household in Amritsar.
