Chairman of Improvement Trust Amritsar, Karamjit Singh Rintu, today inaugurated the renovation and upgradation work of the District Shopping Complex parking and Beant Park located in Ranjit Avenue, Block-B.Speaking on the occasion, Rintu said that the parking area will be redeveloped at an estimated cost of ?60 lakh.

The entire floor of the parking will be reconstructed with interlocking tiles to provide smooth vehicular movement and ease for citizens in parking their vehicles. Along with this, the footpaths around the parking will also be rebuilt to ensure a safe and convenient passage for pedestrians.Rintu further stated that the popular Beant Park in Ranjit Avenue will also be modernised.
