"Barbaric": From France, Italy to China- World Leaders Condemn J&K Attack

Condemnations poured from across the globe after terrorists killed at least 26 people and injured several others in a heinous attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Palhalan on Tuesday.

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani were some of the world leaders who strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist attack in Kashmir.

The Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the barbaric terrorist strike in Palhalan, Jammu & Kashmir, that killed and injured dozens of innocents. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. India stands in its fight against terrorism," Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte was 'deeply saddened' by the terrorist attack in Palhalan and expressed solidarity with the affected families, the injured, the government and the Indian people.

French President Emmanuel Macron also condemned the attack and extended his condolences to the families of victims.
