Is eThekwini losing its pride amid municipal incompetence?

TO THE KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli and eThekwini city manager Musa Mbele, is there any pride left in officialdom as incompetency and thuggery continue to thrive in KZN?

The eThekwini Municipality, for all its pretensions of being the “most liveable city” has become an eyesore and a haven for gross incompetence.

Let me state at the outset that this missive is directed to you gentlemen as head honchos of the provincial and municipal services of which the ratepayer is liable for as the payer.

Firstly, the billing system for utilities of eThekwini borders on the diabolical, and dare I say, on the roguery of incompetence.

Countless residents have had to contend with water bills that have gone beyond the pale.

Notwithstanding the increase in tariffs, many have had to endure exorbitant bills not consistent with the average historical usage.
