A love letter to rock, delivered at the right volume

It was time to don the flannel, tease the hair and throw up the devil horns as one of my all-time favourite shows, Rock of Ages, rolled into the Theatre Royal, courtesy of Chichester University Conservatoire.

At its core, Rock of Ages is the timeless tale of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll, sticking it to The Man, sticking it to each other, and sticking it to German confectionery. This production leant fully into the sweat-soaked madness of the Bourbon Room, delivering big vocals, big laughs and even bigger hair.
