Correctional Services hosts campaign at TUT

The Department of Correctional Services with correctional services ambassador Pheladi Maholo, recently visited the local Tshwane University of Technology campus to host a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness campaign.

The event aimed to educate students about the growing GBV crisis in South Africa and encouraged them to speak out against abuse directed at women, children and other vulnerable groups. Students were also warned about the dangers of crime and substance abuse among young people.
