Trophies and Treasures Breakfast honours women
Polokwane Observer
|August 21, 2025
In celebration of women's hard work and lifetime achievements, founder Tshepo Mathabatha, in partnership with the Black Management Forum (BMF), the Black Lawyers Association (BLA), and the Business Women's Association of South Africa (BWASA), hosted the Trophies and Treasures Breakfast at Asha's Lifestyle House last Friday.
The event brought together women from diverse backgrounds, industries and cultures-from established business leaders to community champions.
In her opening remarks, Mathabatha welcomed the guests and shared the vision behind Trophies and Treasures. "Women are often seen as trophies - admired and displayed - yet they are treasures at the heart of family, culture, and wealth. Trophies and Treasures shifts the narrative, it's about recognising women's strength, resilience, and transformative power."
